Hi this is Clarissa, I have a question? I’m looking for a photoshop program, but it needs to be simple and easy which can reduce picture size to large and small. Read the reviews on Adobe Photoshop Element 11 and got scared.
    Hope you can help.
    Many thanks

These photo suggestions are great but it’s been 10 months since you’ve posted any other ideas. Would you mind posting more often, please? Since most of the US was watching fireworks yesterday, I’d be interested in some tips on catching great firework pictures. It might be similar to what we need to do at Christmas to get outside light displays; I’d like more on that too.
Pictures of flowers up close is a great subject for summer, just a suggestion. Thanks

Cheryl, I’m in Jamaica right now and we just took some pictures of us in front of a sunset. Now that we know to use a flash, the photos were great! Thanks!

      Hi Cathy,
It does make a big difference because no one looks good with the sun directly in their face. It makes you squint and puts bad shadows on the eye sockets and really shows up lines in the face. (no one wants that!) And if you put the sun behind you and not use the flash your subject will turn out to dark. Experiment with it and I think you will be very happy with your results.
      Thank you,
      Cheryl

I love getting the shows every week, thanks for taking the time. Since you love to take pictures and so do I, can you suggest a camera that would take good pictures I am in the market for a new camera and so is my friend, I have an old Sony 5.1 wow that’s old. Thank you, Gisela

      Hi Gisela.
I think a great point and shoot camera is the Canon Power shot 100HS. (around $175.00) If you would like a more advanced camera then the Canon Rebel XS is a great one (around $480.00 plus you need to buy the lenses). I personally use a Canon5D and love it.
      Thanks,
      Cheryl
